Preserving foods!

Kia Ora bloggers! This term we have been focusing on mould, Emzyens and even how to preserve food! We have been doing experiments like how to stop apples from rotting and how bread moulds by rubbing it on different objects! For this slide, we had to write five different ways to preserve food. It was cool to see all the different ways you can preserve them! This was so much fun learning about different types of ways to prevent foods from rotting and I hope you learnt something from this as well. Blog you later!

Q: Have you done any of these ways to preserve foods? If so, which one?

If you want to see the progress or the results check out the slide! Blog you later! Questions: Have you ever accidentally ate mouldy food? What do you know about mould? Have you learnt this before?

Eww! Is that mould!

Kia Ora bloggers! I hope your lockdown is going well! In literacy, we have been focusing on food. For this task, we had to learn about Fungi, Enzymes, and bacteria!  I know it sounds gross but it's so interesting to learn about, how bacteria is formed or how enzymes are formed! For this presentation, I used google slides to make it and got the photos from google. I really enjoyed learning about this and think it's a great thing to know! I hope you learnt something from this slide and enjoyed reading it!

The sad story of Anne Frank

Kia ora nuinga! This term in literacy we have been doing reports. The term before we were learning about the war and me and my friend Amy found something interesting. A girl named Anne Frank that was in hiding for 2 years during the war. So when we started report writing we decided to make a report all about Anne Frank. It was a sad story but so interesting to learn about what they had to do to survive. I hope you find this report interesting and you learn something you didn't already know!
